My passion for the outdoors started as a child roaming the outdoor world of my Los Angeles neighborhood with my six brothers. We were kids of the 80s – constantly running around, climbing trees, playing at the beach, riding our bikes everywhere possible, and wading through the creek that ran through the gully next to our house. I have always felt that call for movement and being outside.

I have been teaching preschool in Reno for almost 10 years and throughout my teaching career have realized one important truth: children absolutely thrive outdoors! I have spent years studying the benefits of outdoor play, and in 2024, I finally put that learning into action by starting WHOA! Preschool Adventures. What began as “babysitting outside” at local parks, quickly became something so beautiful and fulfilling. Within five minutes – every single time – I watched my studies come alive as children settled, engaged, explored, and bloomed! I am so excited to be moving forward to build a meaningful community that supports children, their families, and a lifelong love of the outdoors

Courtney Eisele - Teacher

I am a passionate preschool teacher with three years of experience helping young children learn, grow, and explore the world around them. As a mom to a wonderful daughter and a wife, I value the importance of creating nurturing, meaningful connections with children and their families.

I have a deep love for the outdoors and believe that nature is one of the best classrooms. Whether it’s hiking, biking, or snowboarding, I enjoy staying active and bringing that sense of adventure into my teaching. I am especially passionate about encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children through hands-on, outdoor experiences.

When I am not teaching, you can find me reading or spending quality time with my family. I am excited to be a part of a program that inspires children to explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love for the natural world.

Aive Lynn - Teacher

I have been a preschool teacher for four years. I love helping children grow and learn. I find it so important to nurture connections and relationships between students and education in a way that is empowering and uplifting.

I grew up learning about the importance of being outside and the benefits that it carries. My family and I often hiked on the weekends, camped during school breaks, and biked around our neighborhoods. I am excited to observe our students explore the natural world around them the way I was able to as a child.

I have an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education and have taken many Early Childhood Education classes. From my studies as well as my personal experiences, I am confident that outdoor preschool adventures will be wholly beneficial for children as they grow and develop. I can not wait to guide them as they do so.
